Shake Off Stress-- A MINI TRE® WORKSHOP
Please note the post class follow up reminders below:
- Drink more water than usual after your TRE session and for the following 24-48 hours.
- You may be tired or you may have lots of energy, please rest if your body needs it.
- Your muscles may be sore; a warm bath with Epsom salts will help. (This rarely occurs and only usually the first time you do TRE.)
- In the following 24-36 hours, you may experience some tiredness, emotional fatigue, and more shaking, All of this is normal. If anything concerns you, please contact me.
- Notice your dreams over the following few days.
- If this is your first time with TRE, please do wait to shake for a couple of days to allow integration of the session.
- Do join group classes, explore individual sessions or speak to a practitioner before or while doing TRE on your own.
- To prep for individual practice, we recommend a full day class, or depending on your individual needs 6 or more private or group sessions to support your journey.
- Once you are practicing on your own- we recommend no more than 3x/week and shaking for no more than 10-20 minutes.
- Please don’t teach anyone TRE. A TRE Provider has completed a certification process and is trained to teach TRE and handle anything that could arise.

TRE stands for Tension and Trauma Release Exercises
This process is designed to gently unravel the physical and emotional tension locked into the body. It utilizes a simple set of exercises that facilitate the lengthening and relaxation of the psoas which allow the body to discharge stress and trauma naturally. It’s great for everyone, all age and fitness levels! Most find it fascinating and exhilarating... And many experience unparalleled ease, peace and relaxation, and access to greater awareness and energy!
Some of the benefits you may experience by practicing TRE® are:
